On the nose it is clear, rich in hints of ripe red fruit, black cherry and plum as well as pleasant spicy notes. In the mouth it is bursting, the tannin is soft and the alcoholic sensation is not invasive, but we find the same sensations, which are perceived on the nose. DOWNLOAD THE TECHNICAL SHEET Tale . . . The production area of Rosso Piceno Superiore Doc is very limited, including only the territories of the 13 southernmost municipalities of the Marche. An area that the ministerial specification defines as "with a very high viticultural suitability". The maximum production of grapes per hectare of vineyard must not exceed 12 tons. The grapes intended for winemaking must ensure the wines have a minimum natural alcoholic strength by volume of 11.5%. Rosso Piceno Superiore wines must be aged for at least one year: they cannot be released for consumption before November 1st of the year following the year in which the grapes were produced.
