FOUNDERS KRIEK
FOUNDERS KRIEK
Kriek-style beers are brewed by fermenting cherries together with beers (during fermentation they are consumed down to the core). The result is mixed with young lambic making the style sparkling, with notes of wood and cherry aromas due to the cherries. If, instead of cherries, raspberries are used, the style is called Framboise. There are also other types of lambic with the addition of additional types of fruit. Excellent combinations for aperitifs and desserts. Alc. 3.5%
