Vodka belvedere
VODKA BELVEDERE
Even if the medieval Galenic science of distillation called them Water of Life, we can confirm with certainty that distillates are drinks whose high alcohol content requires us to consume them in moderation. With a more or less soft character, powerful or subtle, distillates or brandies are always the result of the distillation of a fermented product of vegetal origin. Vodka, obtained mainly from cereals and potatoes, was born around the 1400s between Russia and Poland, who claim the origin of its name which, in their language, means 'water'. Belvedere, considered among the best in its category, is a vodka produced in Zyrardòwed in Poland; obtained from the distillation of rye, it takes its name from the Polish presidential palace Belweder, whose facade is depicted on the bottle. Extremely pure crystalline, it gives the nose sensations of aromatic herbs, citrus fruits, menthol and white pepper; full-bodied, smooth and enveloping on the palate, it closes with beautiful spicy and balsamic notes.
